🆕 New · EdgeMed Encounters

Train your decisions, not just your recall

EM Encounters drops you into realistic Ghanaian ED scenarios where the clock ticks and every choice matters. Recognise the pattern. Sequence the workup. Escalate at the right moment. Survive (or learn why you didn't).

"Pastest teaches what's on the exam. EM Encounters teaches what's on the shift."

How it works

Each Encounter is a realistic case set at a named Ghanaian ED — district, regional, or tertiary. You read the scene, see the vitals, and pick from four actions. Time elapses with each decision. Vitals change. New findings unfold. After 8–12 decisions the case ends, and you get a scorecard — outcome, time-to-diagnosis, key lessons, and a link to the Tutor questions on that topic. The cases follow the Mahadevan & Garmel Introduction to Clinical Emergency Medicine structure and are calibrated for the realities of practice in West African EDs: imaging that isn't always available, the senior who has to be called from home, the drugs the formulary actually stocks.
